so she asked me
to do her intro
speech for her.<\/p>\n

of rather, she
“asked”
me to<\/p>\n

in that polite
way she has,<\/p>\n

where she tosses
the contract at
me and says,<\/p>\n

“here honey!
make it work!”<\/p>\n

as she skips
gaily out the door.<\/p>\n

probably to watch
more Samurai Jack.<\/p>\n

i’ve managed to
sneak in some
serious challenges
this year.<\/p>\n

she’s working 30
hours a week,<\/p>\n

taking a modern
literature class,<\/p>\n

reading
virginial woolf,<\/p>\n

JAMES JOYCE.<\/p>\n

plus, there’s
the 52 episodes
of cartoons she’ll
be watching<\/p>\n

in the next 20 days.<\/p>\n

i’m just not sure
it’s enough to
stop her.<\/p>\n

she is a crafty
little devil
after all.<\/p>\n

i mean, look at
this contract.<\/p>\n

seriously.<\/p>\n

so while she’s
busy scribbling
away in her new
book.<\/p>\n

i’ll be busy
myself, hatching

her

maybe i can start
by destroying
her mind.<\/p>\n
